Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to every purchase from the Pit Rain online store ("Pit Rain", "we", "us", "our"). By placing an order you agree to these Terms, our Refund Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Privacy Policy. Please read section 3 carefully: our products are sold as pre-orders and delivery can take 4–5 weeks.

1. Who we are

The store is operated by the company listed in our Contact Information. You can reach us through our contact page or by email at pitrainsupport@gmail.com.

2. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a price was displayed incorrectly, if we suspect fraud, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.

3. Pre-orders and delivery time

All PitRain shower heads are sold as pre-orders. Each unit is built after you order and is not shipped from stock.

  • Delivery can take 4–5 weeks from the date of your order, including production and shipping.
  • Your card is not charged when you order. At checkout we only place a hold (authorization) on your card for the order total. We charge it when we confirm your unit for production, normally within 7 days of your order.
  • If we cannot fulfil your order, we cancel it and release the hold, so you are not charged. Your bank may take a few business days to remove the hold from your statement.
  • Some payment methods do not support holds and are charged at checkout. If we then cancel your order, we refund the full amount.
  • Delivery times are estimates. Carrier delays, customs checks and public holidays can occasionally make delivery take longer.
  • If we expect your order to arrive more than 2 weeks later than the estimate, we will email you. You can then choose to wait or cancel for a full refund.
  • If your order has not been delivered 8 weeks after you placed it, you can cancel it and receive a full refund, even if it has already shipped.

By completing your purchase you confirm that you understand the product is a pre-order and that delivery can take 4–5 weeks.

4. Prices, currencies and payment

Prices are shown in your local currency where available, based on your location. Prices are converted at current exchange rates, and you are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees. Shipping costs, and any taxes we are required to collect, are shown at checkout before you pay.

Where we show a crossed-out price, it is the reference price under the applicable price-indication rules.

5. Optional add-ons

Shipping Protection covers your parcel if it is lost, stolen or damaged in transit, as described in our Shipping Policy. Express Delivery gives your order priority in production and ships it with an express carrier. It shortens the delivery time, but does not guarantee a specific delivery date.

6. Cancellations

You can cancel your order at any time before it ships and receive a full refund. Contact us with your order number.

7. Returns, refunds and guarantees

Returns and refunds are explained in our Refund Policy, including our 14-day money-back guarantee and, for consumers in the European Union, the 14-day right of withdrawal.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also have the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

8. Product information

PitRain is our own independent design inspired by motorsport. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by any racing team, driver, sponsor, car manufacturer or racing series. Photos are representative. Because each unit is finished by hand, small differences in color and detail can occur.

9. Installation and safe use

PitRain is designed for standard 1/2-inch shower arms. Follow the included instructions and make sure the connection is watertight. Do not use it with water hotter than a normal shower. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or modification of the product.

10. Intellectual property

The content of this store, including text, photos, logos and design, belongs to Pit Rain or is used with permission. You may not copy or reuse it without our written consent.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where our company is registered, as shown in our Contact Information. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
